Starting 1st page of the year by writing blogpost in English (1st time officially) and aim to spread out my content in various country across the world not just only Thai language anymore but it doesn’t mean I will not continue blogging in Thai, I am always still blogging in Thai language for sure as it’s my mother tongue language.

Today is 1st of January 2014. I woke up very late around noon due to got back home very late night around 04:00am ( indeed it’s in early morning of January 1st,2014 lol)

As everyone knows, I am super sick for a week now due to weather changes , flu and cold. I took 2 sick leaves. My voice is very ugly (but someone told me it’s super sexy but I don’t think so lol it’s very annoying to hear my ugly voice) Firstly, I though I was unlucky girl, poor me why I need to be sick in the new year celebration period. Everyone had a plans to see firework in The Palm Atlantis, Jumeirah and also Burj Khalifa (the tallest building in the world ) in Downtown Dubai. I thought that I might need to watch from live streaming in Youtube only as  I didn’t have car and traffic would be damn packed, jammed no way to move and I’m not sure for my health condition that I am strong enough to go outside and suppose to be back home without more worst condition. Thus, I decided to stay at home and watching live streaming.

Suddenly, Jay ( my filipino colleague) called me to ask whether I was okay enough to go outside and had any plans regarding new year celebration. As I knew myself I would like to go out and I had no plans yet. Therefore, I accepted his invitation. I came to pick me up around 22:00PM at my building as we live not so far from each other. I was so impressed that he let me to celebrate the new year with his family ( his wife and his older sister ). Not that much in Thailand that we will invite someone like colleague or else to celebrate any occasion with our family. It’s seldom occurred. To be honest, I was so impressed last night.

We went to Al Satwa where Jay’s sister live to see firework from the roof top of the building. We could see the whole things from Burj Khalifa. Thus, we could see the spectacular firework in Downtown without traffic and still could had late dinner at the same time in warmth room and no crowd people around us. Especially, all of these view were for free, no need to buy any ticket to watch.

This was my first time to climb to the roof top with cool breeze. Even if I am height phobia but as I do want to see that awesome firework this is the best reason to climb up to see once in my life time.

The Spectacular firework here in Dubai, they tried to break Guinness world record of firework ( Burj Khalifa, Burj Al Arab, The Palm Atlantis, Jumeirah ) the show was maximum approx. 5-6 mins each. It’s like a Christmas Tree firework 🙂 so beautiful and worth to see once in your life.

I took some vdo clip of this firework even it’s not quite clear because I was super cold and my hands always shaking. I do apologized regarding this matter but it’s super fabulous night ever for me.

After finished firework at Burj Khalifa around 10 mins later, we could see another one show from far far away which was from The Palm Atlantis, Jumeirah. OH MY GOD, such a beautiful and awesome show. Even if I was staying very far far away but I could imagine how awesome it was out there.

More than 450,000 fireworks were set off along the trunk and fronds of the Palm Island and around the Word Island in Dubai. And Congratulation to Dubai. You are now breaking Guinness World Record 🙂
